Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST), led by its community-focused executives under the BST To Community (B2C) initiative, together with industrial operators in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, jointly organized and supported the traditional water-pouring ceremony for the elderly in local communities.

This year, the community events were held between April 822, 2025, within the areas of Map Ta Phut City Municipality and Ban Chang Subdistrict Municipality. The activities emphasized both environmental conservation and the preservation of Thai culture. For example, using traditional water bowls instead of plastic water guns, avoiding single-use plastic bottles, and participating in merit-making ceremonies such as pouring water over Buddha statues and seeking blessings from elders instead of engaging in water splashing.

These efforts not only help to preserve Thai cultural traditions but also promote sustainable use of water resources.

BST shares the global vision of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)17 goals that address economic, social, and environmental issues to ensure a better quality of life for all, without harming the planet, leaving no one behind, and adapting to change. These principles are the foundation of BSTs ESG Policy (Environmental, Social, and Governance), which guides the companys sustainable development strategies.

BST: "Committed to Safety, Caring for the Environment, Living in Harmony with the Community."
