On June 6, 2025, Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST) supported the Community Waste Separation and Recycling Management Center at Wat Chak Luk Ya by joining forces in organizing a major merit-making activity called Recycling Robe Offering: Turning Waste into Merit. As part of the event, BST donated shredded paper to contribute to the construction of a crematorium at Wat Soi Kiri, reaffirming its commitment to promoting sustainable waste management alongside supporting the preservation of Buddhism.

This activity not only provided a valuable opportunity for people to make merit in support of religious facilities, but also served as a campaign to raise awareness of the value of recyclable waste. It encouraged the practice of waste separation at the source, enabling materials to be reused, reducing the volume of waste destined for disposal, and adding value to leftover materials.

The Recycling Robe Offering: Turning Waste into Merit event is a great example of the collaboration between government agencies, the private sector, and the community in creating meaningful initiatives that benefit society, the environment, and Buddhism altogether.

BST shares the goal of contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a set of 17 global goals encompassing economic, social, and environmental dimensions, aimed at improving peoples lives without harming the planet, leaving no one behind, and preparing to adapt to change. These three pillars of sustainability have shaped BSTs ESG Policy (Environmental, Social & Governance) a framework for sustainable organizational development.

BST: Committed to Safety, Caring for the Environment, Living in Harmony with the Community.
