Friday, October 10, 2025, the Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. Group (BST Group), led by Mr. Sunthorn Prasopchingchana, Director and Managing Director of Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST) and BST Elastomers Co., Ltd. (BSTE), Ms. Natthinee Boondham, Managing Director, and Mr. Hiro'omi Shimomura, Managing Director of BST ENEOS Elastomer Co., Ltd. (BEE), together with executives and employees, jointly hosted the Kathina solidarity ceremony for the Buddhist year B.E. 2568 (2025) at Wat Soi Kiri, Huai Pong Sub-district, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province. This event aimed to preserve the virtuous Buddhist tradition and foster harmony between the company and the surrounding communities.
This Kathina ceremony is part of the BST Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, which the Group has continuously prioritized and conducted for the 4th consecutive year at Wat Soi Kiri, a temple located in the Map Ta Phut Municipality area. The fundraising effort was intended to contribute to the restoration and repair of the temple's crematorium, which has deteriorated from prolonged use, and to sustainably uphold Buddhism alongside the community. In addition, BST also participated in the annual Kathina merit-making ceremonies at 14 other temples in the Map Ta Phut and Ban Chang areas to perpetuate the Buddhist tradition and the fine Thai identity within the communities for continued sustainability.
The annual Kathina solidarity event of the BST Group has been well-received by executives, employees, business partners, and local residents, including the Soi Kiri, Charoen Phatthana, Nong Wai Som, and other nearby communities. This reflects the Group's commitment to conducting business in tandem with social and environmental responsibility, aiming for peaceful and sustainable coexistence.
The total donation amount collected from the Kathina solidarity ceremony at Wat Soi Kiri for the year 2025 was 1,432,199 Baht.
